Why We Built This Site
Pennsylvania gives the public access to many court records, but the access path depends on the record. Centre County civil and criminal Common Pleas filings are maintained by the Prothonotary and Clerk of Courts in the Centre County Courthouse. Probate, guardianship, adoption, marriage license, and estate records are handled by the Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans' Court at the Willowbank Office Building. Traffic, summary offenses, preliminary criminal matters, small civil claims, and landlord-tenant cases often begin in Magisterial District Court.
This site brings those separate sources into a single county-focused reference. It does not replace the official offices, and it does not hold official files.

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Pennsylvania court, Centre County office, sheriff's office, clerk's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing Centre County or Pennsylvania government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal.
